Boot Linux faster with an open BIOS

The solution, according to Seebach, is to replace proprietary BIOSes with open BIOSes. Open implementations can be configured or customized to perform only those initiatialization tasks that really are required, before bootstrapping the OS.

Quarriers, stone hewers, masons, carpenters work in front of you, as they once did 7 centuries ago. The building yard is a continuous, lively and progressive site where Towers, Curtains and the Keep will have taken 25 years to rise up from the earth.You may realise that from many viewpoints, this building site straight from the past will answer many expectations of modern men and women.

I think RSS is a really great technology, especially when searching for news feeds. I’ve stuck with Opera as my news reader, though i did like Sharp Reader for a while. Web based will certainly be easier for flitting between home and work (if you can call a train journey flitting!)
